Cost of shavings?

I currently charge my liveries £6.30 a bale for dust extracted white shavings, they are the smaller bales and very compact. people tend to use 1 every now and then as most are turned out 24/7 and only in the odd night but in winter most would only use 1 bale a week.

We have one lad on snowflake - £4.50 per bale. And one lad on an unbranded locally produced dust extracted small flake at £6.50 a bale. We use about 3/4 bale per week - but both lads are on rubber matting. If I could get away with snowflake for both I would - but the one lad is very messy and it isn't absorbant enough.

Ours is dust free and £6.50 a bale.
We don't bring in until late October at night but then he will have 2/3 bales to start his new bed, then probably one a fortnight.

This is on top of rubber matting, probably could get away with using less but I like him to have a nice bed.

Random interjection....pls dont moan about price of shavings...if you were ;)

I live in Malta...

Due to restricted turn out due to lack of available land...use minimum 2 bales a week at €10 - normal €15 dust extracted (Supposedly?!)

Rubber matting is €50 for a 6 x 6ft mat at 10mm thick....

I want UK prices and availability back :( lol
