Cost of Shoeing

its £65 for a full set

and £20 travel because ive just swapped back to my old farrier who is travelling 35miles out of his way to come and shoe my horse =)

he never used to charge for stud holes, to fit a new shoe if he lost one or trim
the pony but i i think he will now hes travelling so far

hes the best farrier weve had since i was kid and was taught by the farrier that saved my pony when i was a kid when her pedal bone was about to rotate through her foot

we pay £35 fronts with rears trimmed

full set £60

he's a great farrier even though his time keeping is slightly out:mad:

he didnt have the right size shoes for our big boy so made him a set on the yard and didnt charge any extra.:) staffordshire

£50 for a set, £55 with stud holes, however we get 'special rates' because we used him before he was qualified and have got him loads of work so hes never put the price up for us :) He usually charges £65 i think and £70 with holes. We are in somerset :)

Last week we paid our lovely father and son farriers 30,000RUB to shoes 20 horses, which works out at about £30 per horse... of course this is in Siberia so none of you can steal them!
