Cost of shows as a spectator?

I hope I'm not miserable, but just went to book tickets for RDS, dublin, for the saturday, puissance day, for me and the two munchkins, €99.87, before you eat, travel, etc... I brought them there two years ago, and it was 36 euro, have they gone mad, we are in a ression. I really want to go, but I think it's alot of money, considering I'll spend the same again getting there and feeding us all for the day!! Am I miserable, should I just shut up and book the tickets?

The pricing does seem a bit wonky. Have you contacted the organizers to ask why such a hike?

Have always quite fancied going across to the RDS for a couple of days so may be after advice at some point. That does seem quite a lot though for tickets though must admit I always think ticket prices for anything are expensive so not a good one to comment.
