Cost of tooth rasping

I've just had my bill for Lari's teeth rasping which took place a couple of weeks ago.

Here it is itemised:

£40 visit
£17 sedation technique
£33 domosedan
£15 torbugesic
£2 consumables
£70 dentistry

GRAND TOTAL - £179.00 (VAT inc)

Seems to be extortionate compared with everyone else's!

Having to pay for the needle and syringe under consumables and then injection technique which I assume is the itemised wording 'intravenous sedation' seems so wrong.

Nearly 3 weeks ago, our 30 year old Welsh pony had his 6 monthly check. Visit £50. Examination, treatment, and 2 lots of sedation, not itemized, was £87, so £137.

£75 for one horse £60 each if there are more than one.
Then I'd use Dermosedan gel if sedation was required at about £35/40 a tube.

oh old thread and i replied last year 😆
