Please can you give me a rough idea how much this would cost?

I know there are wooden and metal floors, but roughly how much for each? Something like an Ifor 505 size?

Thanks

Weve literally had a quote this morning. The man said the wood you use we would need two sheets of which are £60 each plus labour he recons between £250-300
dont know how much it would be for an aluminium floor though.

I've only ever had wooden floors so can't compare. As long as they are cleaned regularly & the rubber lifted every now & then to allow the floor to dry there's no reason why a wooden floor can't last a long time xx

I should think that both have the potential to rot. I only have wood because that's what the trailer came with so replaced like for like. Well, I got a couple of horsey carpentry people to replace for me. Metal might be harder to replace and would need specialist tools?

To replace a floor in hardwood planks, which is far superior to plywood flooring, I would suspect you would be looking at approx. £300 in materials. Labour, who knows, but when it comes to getting mine done I will have a go at doing it myself; after all its just bolted to the chassis!

A very superior place.

Buffalo board is better than ply. Even marine ply is not durable enough. Aluminium can also rot.
When we had our trailer floor redone last year I couldn't find anyone to do hardwood so we had buffalo board instead. Was about £300.

Wow I wouldn't have thought an ally replacement would be that price! I've seen ifor 505's already with an ally floor for only £1400 ;)
