Hia,
Im living in chelmsford atm and considering the practicality of getting a pony, I'd be really grateful if people could give me some ballpark figures for grass livery (DIY), hay for one pony type and 4/6 weekly farrier trims (no shoes) and 6/8 weekly shoeings in the area.
I know there is a lot more to keeping a pony than the above but I am finding it hard to find figures for these things, feed and vets tend to publish their costs more clearly and I'd like to do a breakdown and see how practical it would be.
