costs of microchipping?

how much does it cost to have a horse microchipped? got the vet coming out on monday so call out not a problem

Well I was ripped off then - paid £24 +VAT last week! Had it done at same time as new course of Flu & Tet - total bill £91!

Hmm . . . my vet charges £38 inc VAT plus call out so I got mine done when they were vaccinated.

I just had mine done for £20 along side flu and tet.

At our vets it's £22 for the chip + visit cost (around £25 now i think). Will get mine done at next vaccine too to save another call out fee.
