Sorry this isn't a horse post but this is the best place for it!
Mossburn's latest arrival is a little lamb who was confiscated by the police from A FLAT!!! in Glasgow

stupid people! most likely they stole it from a field because they thought it would be "fun". anyway, she's safe with us now although idread to think of her poor mother looking for her little baby!

anyway, anyone with experience of lambs, how many times a day do they get bottle fed? and how well do you think the other sheep will accept her when she's all growed up a bit?

How old is the baby? I work on a farm during lambing seasons - the younger they are, the more they tend to need to be fed. As long as they're feeding well (and you're using the right stuff - either pure cow / sheep milk, or the powdered alternatives), usually every 4 hours is enough - longer if it's big and strong.
As for re-introducing to other sheep, is there a nearby sheep farm to you? You could ask if you could take on another lamb (famers always have spares that have been rejected or something)? It's most likely that adult sheep wont take her yet (especially if they've got their own babies) - they'll just butt her away. Would probably be ok when she's older though - they're not fussy!!!

Good luck!

best get it mixing with other sheep. It will end up a right pain. It will think its human and want to be with you all the time. If you buy a bag of lamb powder (deviket) it will say how much to feed. Dont be tempted to over feed it,.
