I would appreciate some advise/ideas/experiences please.
One of my lot has developed a cough. She is aTBxWB and is 16 years old. Stabled at night (she only likes to go out for 4/5 hours before she stands by the gate wanting to come in. I have taken her off straw and am now soaking her hay. She started about 8 days ago. It doesnt go on and on but is 3/4 hacks every now and again. In the stable, in the field, and exercise. Although not worse with faster work. I havent ridden her since the first day i noticed the cough. And although it hasnt got worse is not gone. She is eating and her normal bright self. What should i do? Get some supplement? Cough medicine? Let it run its course or call the vet out tomorrow?
