i bought my pony 8 years ago and i bring him in just after bonfire night and let him out just after the clocks change in march. during this time i let him out in the day and bring him in at night. i go down in the morning and he coughs for the first hour but no mucus or snot comes out his nose and when i send him off into the field he coughs but it is only in the morning this has happened for eight years but it never really bothered me until now i have noticed the amount of horses that have joined the livery yard havent suffered with the same problem. all the horses are on straw and 6 of them are on haylage and 4 of them are on hay. we have to give ours hay because he is prone to laminitis. Help and advice pretty please
