Coughs and weather

My horse has a mild cough....its been there for several years ago...usually he is fine when feeded with Winergy Ventilate.

But I observed...(as I always do) that windy or rainy days he has no cough at all...anyone observed this too?? It might be de pollen or dust in the air what causes irritation....
Anyone had similar experiences??

Its the same for my mare. When its a warm dry spell she can cough a far bit but on days like today (wet) she is fine. She has COPD for which she has some suplements for but I also think pollen has something to do with it. We have loads of small country lanes around here that have very overgrown plants and bushes at head height.
I use a nose net when its hot. It seems to calm her down a bit
