Hey all, hope I'm posting this in the right place. I’ve been a lurker on here for years but now has come the time when i could really use some of your expert help.....

To try and keep this short - I’ve recently moved to East Sussex and have been out of the saddle for roughly 10 years due to number of things, boring work in London and having my lovely babies.... Having said that, I’m not completely out of touch as I have managed a couple of dressage lessons and ridden out a few racehorses in that lay off period but that was when i lived in Glos/oxon. So.... I’m now desperately looking to get back into the saddle but being new to East Sussex (Eastbourne) I have no idea of where to try for some decent lessons.... Done the obvious and have googled everything I can think of, called a few yards for any recommendations, but not having a lot of luck. Plenty of livery yards but you need your own horse and I’m nowhere near that stage yet.... too rusty and too broke!!!
If anybody is in Sussex and could point me in the right direction I’d be soooo grateful Thanks v much!

Hello...

I am about 12 mmiles out of Eastbourne! So fairly close to you... I am 37 weeks pregnant and am kinda struggling a little to get all jobs done by myself. I keep my horses at home there are 6 at the mo...My jumping horse, my broodmare ( due 19th may ) her 2 year old filly, a zangersheide mare my OH and I bought to jump but have now decided she will be a mummy too and my mums 2 x hairies. My OH is a showjumper and I could probably persuade him to give you some lessons on my mums coblets in exchange for some help around the yard. Alternatively, we do want someone to come and play with ponies, go hacking etc and give them some attention whilst I am unable to do so much...What do you think?

xx
