Could Apple Cider Vinegar cause ulcers?

I feed my horse 150ml of apple cider vinegar a day to keep his joints supple. However, I was just wondering if there were any side effects (and in particular ulcers) on the digestive systems as a result of feeding vinegar in such large quantities.

Any ideas / comments?

i wouldn't have thought so at that level. i suppose it would theoretically be possible as it could make the gut contents too acidic, but i think you would have to be putting loads in!

never heard of it and i hope not as my lot love it in their feed now and again, dont feed everyday more everyother.but i would say that being in a feed would lower the chances anyway wouldnt it?????

would have thought so really. and when i say lots, you're prob talking like a litre in a feed to cause problems....
