Could I count this as shortening/lengthening?

Last bits going into my video now. I just want to know if you think I could count:
Clip 1 as an attempt to ride with a good contact/on the bit
Clip 2 attempt of shortening
Clip 3 attempt of lengthening

I know she isnt really shortening/lengthening but its the closest I've got (She's only 6/7, been in work for less than a year after having a foal so isnt really that schooled atm) I need to show attempts of these 3 things to get the mark for it.

Thanks :D

Couldn't really see much difference between 1 and 2. 3 was slightly longer stride but that's more being achieved through speed of movement than lengthening.
Sorry :(

If they're all you've got, by all means include them but if you have the opportunity to get more, I would try. There really isn't much difference in those clips. Even though the pony is green, you should be able to get some collected strides by utilising the smaller movements - if you put her on a 10m circle (larger if she can't balance) and half halt, keeping your leg on, you should be able to show more collected strides. If you can't show true lengthening, I would be inclined to show the difference between collection coming off a spiralling circle, into relatively more lengthened sides pushing her straight across the long diagonal.

That was my last chance to ride so I either have to use that or nothing :/ just deliberating whether to miss it out or put in attempt (although i know it isnt great) :/ thanks xx

It depends whether you are meant to include lengthening / collection or not. If it's something you're supposed to include, you could put it in and explain that it's very limited but that you know how you would go about getting it on a more experienced horse / teaching this mare to do it and that you simply didn't have the opportunity to do it for the camera. If it's an optional extra, I would not include those clips (as they don't demonstrate it well) and, if you have the opportunity explain (I presume there's some written explanation that goes with the video?) that you didn't have the option to show it as you were riding a green pony.

BTW clip 1 and clip 2 I was trying to shorten on both of those so thats why they aree practically the same :L I'll see if i have any videos of her working trot xx

I have to include it, good idea though, i'll mention that shes very green. I did ask to ride a different horse that day because of the video and I knew i needed lengthening and shortening but 1 needed a day off, one lame and the others being used already in lessons later :( thanks xx
