At the moment my horse is in a sprenger low port snaffle, when I bought him he came with this bit and a myler combination, I did'nt like the way he went in the myler after a while, so put him in the ported snaffle, his old owner told me he needs a ported bit, he does have a tendency to loll his tounge out to the side as well, now when out hacking it is physically taking it's toll on me, he is very strong, has a tendency to grab and pull, skooling is fine, it's hacking when I feel I need a bit more control, so my question is, do you think the neue schule universal would be a good one to try, and going from a port to this bit a good idea, thanks
