This is hotly debated in my household- due to being entire still he just seems to get more and more bulkey rather than tall- which I don't mind as he's ultimately a show pony (plus there is more to take up my leg lol)- but he needs to make 13.2hh really for me to look ok on him, but at a guess I think he will make it- but I would be suprised if he made much more- he's far too well proportioned to have too much growing left to do.

Thanks shadowboy.
I can be slightly more helpful with a pic, this is my yard managers pure NF he is 4 this year and is 13.2 the dark bay (i'm sure that what she said we were only discussing this today)!

Here is my Purebred New Forest, last year taken when he was a 3 yo, approximate height 14hh-14.1hh. This year he's bigger, more mature physically and I expect him to make 14.2hh at full maturity - whenever that is LOL.

Gosh lar, your gelding looks good at 20! Not dis-similar to my gelding, or how I think he will look when he's fully matured. I've heard they keep growing and maturing until they're 8 years old. What do you do with him, or what has he done over the years? He's lovely!

Sisco, my first horse - 13hh -11yrs now, although has a slightly longer back then Jester, he is about 8yrs old in this photo, just recovering from lami.

Awww thank you! He's been a little star over the years and we've literally done a bit of everything with him - dressaged successfully up to elementary, showing, SJ, ODEs (he's a truly phenomenal jumper!) and next month I'm hopefully doing an endurance ride on him.

And he's such a sensible chap too - you can literally hack him anywhere on the buckle end and he doesn't turn a hair

At the request (read demand) of my beloved OH, a couple of pics of her beloved Folly.

14.3hh from a VERY distinguished purebred NF line. She's 13 in the pictures and 17 now. The group shot also shows Fortune, (the grey) a friends 14.2hh, he's 12, and yes he IS smiling.

Both pictures taken at the Badminton fun ride in 06, before I started riding.

Folly-chops has fame at last! At 14.3 she is "too tall" to be a New Forest although pure bred, luckily at 5 ft 4 and just 8 stone and a proud 50 years of age I am not too old too big or too small to ride her. She is very special, and if ever there was a turned around problem pony...there begins a very very long story :)

This is Fluke (the dun roany one!) he is forest bred and we have had him from 6 months old he is 8 this year, i don't have very many good pics on here of him but you get the idea!

He is 14hh and a little dude!
