I have a mental welsh a. Lol

I know some horses just cant behave themselves but ive never met a pony like Mysti.
She will be happily walking next to me then something changes in a split second and shes rearing, bucking ect.
In the field all of a sudden she jumps up and legs it around the field while the other horses just carry on eating.
She was standing next to me in the schooling field and she took off and jumped a 4ft6 fence. And shes only 12hh :S

She also has problems learning new things, it literally goes in one ear and out the other lol.

So could it be a brain problem?

Ta in advance :)

I don't think anyone reading the forum is really qualified to say and especially without seeing her.

My friend's gelding did display similar behaviour; she'd be riding him and he'd suddenly bolt or flip out for no apparent reason. Everyone thought he was just being naughty. One day she was lose schooling him in the indoor... he bolted, ran into the brick wall and killed himself. They had an autopsy performed and found a tumour. Thank goodness she wasn't on him that time...

Saying all of that, it could just be her. Has she suddenly changed or always been like that? If you're genuinely concerned, get her checked out.

Shes always been like it :(
Forgot to mention shes only 5, it could be a age thing i suppose but i just have a gut feeling its more :S

Lol, she would be a amazing jumper if she was sane enough, and yep im thinking about giving it a while and see if she gets better as she gets older :)
