I have had said nappy pony for a year and a half now. She can be a real mare, literally!! She is fantastic in company and tends to be head of the hack. However, going out a lone she is a complete pain in the backside. She does what I call the crocodile, always going sideways in the hope she can do a quick turnaround. It can be exhausting, but generally half way around a route she knows she will start behaving as knows we are heading home. She used to be worse, bucking and rearing and trying to dump me in ditches. But yesterday we went out and were trotting along when it dawned on me she was not doing the crocodile, we were actually going in a straightline!!!!! I then decided to take a different route and go exploring, it was fantastic!!!!!! I hope this is how it will stay and she wasn;t just teasing me!!!
