Could my kitten be pregnant?

She's 6.5 months old and escaped through a window the other day. She was missing for about four hours before I found her. (I was frantic!) I know you can't give me a definite answer, but could she be preggers? Her nipples look swollen and she just has that look about her.

She was due to be done but the vet had to cancel the op because of a staff shortage.

Thank you!

I'm sorry to say she could be :(

I have two cats whose mother was not quite six months old when she gave birth to them. I brought them home to save them from the same fate! (no doubt with their father :/)

I would take her to the vet, maybe they can give her something to make sure it doesn't happen?

Sorry you are going through this, but glad she is home!

Can you not whip them straight off to the vets after an escape for an injection or an emergency spay? I assume it is too late if her nipples are pronounced.
Get a new vet, IMO!

Yes she could be, our cat, now 6 years old got out at 5 months, spoke to vet because she went missing for a few days, and they said it was more than likely she would be, They carried out a spay pretty soon after that, found evidence of being in kit.
