.. to stop needing the vet every month as my bank balance cannot cope and I'm really losing my sense of humour with him. He has got conjunctivitis back again so the vet is coming out again tonight. I have hidden all the vet books and banned Patrick from reading them but he is taking absolutely no notice of me whatsoever and is constantly thinking up new ailments. Any ideas what I can do next please?! He doesn't have internet access as far as I know so where is he getting all these illness ideas from?!

He has been on steroid cream from the vet which cleared it all up a week ago but has now returned with a vengence, it looks so sore, poor P.
 
Yes sadly beyond magic cream, I agree about the flies though awful even when covered in fly spray and he takes a fly mask off within about 5 minutes.
 
Hmm trouble is he hates the vet too really. As soon as the vet switched the light on to look in his eyes last time he reared up twice and that was before she had even gone near him so I am really looking forward to tonight!

I'll spend my time with my feet dangling whilst trying to hold on to the headcollar!
 
My vet came out tonight and poor P is feeling very low. His eyes are completely swollen and full of gunk (sorry) and he didn't even put up his usual fight so he must be feeling ill. He has got very stong antibiotics so hopefully that will sort him out. He'd love some cuddles if there are any going spare from anyone please.
