Could this be the oldest horse in the world...

He looks quite sharp in those photos - I bet he gives them the runaround! There are some over 40s on here, mine at 37 is still young then :D

The oldest one I know is 26... retired Grand prix dressage horse... he still struts his stuff around the field. The lady who owns him had a pony for her daughter, and he was around 43 when he died and was still a little bugger and sharp as anything outing him out in the field lol

The oldest equine I have known was a sweet little pony called Impy, he was owned by a lady in Somerset who rescues & rehomes ex racers. He still used to hunt & hack out with the ex racers until he died a couple of years ago, I forget his exact age but think it was around 47 :)

I don't know her in person but Beauty on here is 45 and looks amazing :)

I'm sure Bettyboo222 will be along to show you a pic sooner rather than later as Beauty is hers :)

I haven't met this pony. But the oldest Horse I have heard of, is Beauty, who belongs to a member on here (I think BettyBoo?) Could be wrong. But if I remember rightly she has just celebrated her 45th birthday and looks incredible.

I have known a 38 YO Pony though :)

Oh it would be lovely to see a photo pf her... It always amazes me that some of the 'Oldies' are still as sharp as they were as 4yr olds... so lovely to see :)

I sound like a stalker but she is one of my HHO favs :o

My old boy is 29 this year & still going strong :)

Not as impressive as some of the above, but he's a huge 17.2hh warmblood, and IMO is wonderful ;) he's the one in my avatar.

the olderst pony ive ever met was called squirrel and i think she was 49 ( i could be wrong tho but she was deffo in her late 40's when i met her), you didnt even need to catch her as knew the ropes like the back of her hand lol she was a long term resident at a local RC, Dont think shes still with us now tho as that must have been a good 10 yrs ago.

The shetland on our yard is at least late forties. Still rears up when you're too slow with dinner, though!
