Our council is now introducing an animal welfare policy and hoping to make it a requirement for breeders of more than 2 litters a year to be registered and asking people to contact them with names of people who breed dogs.
Well it was only posted today so wondered if it was being more strongly enforced if that is the case. Hopefully it will.I don't think that's anything new, anyone who breedsmore than two litters a year is classed as a breeder and it is seen as a source of income so should be registered any way.
Trouble is, as usual, the law abiding decent breeders will abide by the regulations and byb will ignore it.
