I need waterproof, warm and leather on the outside (as I don’t want to mark my saddles). Had Dublin last time as I was in a hurry and that’s what the local store sells. Kept biting the back of my heels though and had to add insoles so not perfect. Had Toggi Canyon years ago and seem to remember them being annoyingly short. Other tack shops within reach only have VERY expensive boots, and I can no longer wear Ariat ? as they fit too perfectly and I now have a foot that swells randomly after an operation several years ago.

Recommendations anyone?

I know you said no to Ariats but have you looked at the Conistons? They lace up (zip back too for ease) and come with a pair of normal laces and a pair of elasticated laces too so allow for a lot of give.

I buy Mountain horse boots or Dublin boots I've got the MH country boots they are really nice but I don't ride in mine and I've got the Dublin River boots which are pretty good and do last.
