I think the animal health trust are trying to raise funds to investigate this

It was very interesting and how the Animal Health Trust came to be involved, their patron is Princess Anne whose family happens to holiday regularly at Sandringham.
The fact mites are implicated made me wonder if it was possible to spray some sort of repellent like Frontline. Lymes disease is spread by ticks but not all ticks are affected perhaps there is something similar happening to mites.

I have to agree with you. However, it is good they are investigating thoroughly. The mite implication is interesting.

The only thing that acts against harvest mites and biting lice is Advocate. Frontline doesn't work.
