Countryfile weather report !!

ohhh man, we've got deep sloppy mud on the low lying ground and the slopes are seriously slippery. I so hope it's not going to freeze, there's already been a broken leg from somebody slippling in the mud this week :(
 
Oh thanks was just going to go and watch ( sky + it) I normally leave my nags out until at least the weekend the clocks change, last year last week in November but I grudgingly bought them in Friday night as the rain had poured here continuously for 2 days and nights. I have never seen our fields do wet it's like walking on a sponge!! So they will stay in at night now as in/out is too much for one of mine to cope with he needs a strict routine! Mind you they have been out since march so can't complain too much, roll on Spring that's what I say.....
 
It's definately feeling colder! Tomorrow we've got fog till about 11am, then mist, then fog again at 7pm! My unclipped TB is really feeling the cold at the mo and is in a MW stable combo and a MW turnout! won't be long before he's double rugged!
The fields are rather wet, horses are arguing at the gates, and turnout time is being changed to 4pm, found my boy at the back of the field, sheltering under a tree, tucked up (was in a MW turnout), with 2 shetlands in a neighbouring field for company. He's really feeling the cold this year.

I can beleive it!! what part of the country are the flurries predicted for?
My cob has turned into a mini rhino over summer - shes been turned away since june stuffing her face - shes now hairy and still fat :eek::eek: maybe a cold snap will help her lose some weight :rolleyes:
 
No no no! It can't!!!! I am going in to hospital on wed my 11 yo has been turned away for a while, I have planned to leave him with a rug on, but he got turned out with my yearling and another youngster on sat and I had to take his rug off as they were garrotting him with it! Also broken finger in several places which is now all bandaged with a big metal strip protruding so even if I was having op then I would struggle to muck out, so cold weather no no no!!!!!
 
Ummmm..... Whatever happened to the rumour of a heat wave this week coming?! I'd heard last week that it was going to get up to 21' for a few days running in our neck of the woods. Typical. Had hoped to get a bathing in before clipping :(
