Countryside Alliance welcomes threat to prosecute those who spread contact details online

Considering the subject persons in the following link are company directors, all their details are available via Companies House - free of charge

Frankly the Countryside Alliance need to take a metropolitan view and realise, that a large number of folk who hunt, masters etc are company directors and therefore, unless they have a Registered Office service address, their details are always immediately available.

In my opinion if one is involved in hunting, one should elect to have a Service Address at the Registered Office and not their home address. Therefore their Registered Office should not be their home address and that includes farmers!

Bet there are folk/directors, saying they didn't know their personal home address is registered and displayed at Companies House.

Why, because far too often they leave everything to their accountants who hold all the passwords and authorisation codes, to change the details at Companies House.

People need to be far more hands on and see to it, they monitor what details are being presented by accountants, lawyers and clerks in Estate Offices etc on their behalf where a limited company is concerned.

Some will say, oh but how do I hold registered office elsewhere from where I am trading, for example a farmer that is a limited company.

A Registered Office address and therefore the place for 'Service' upon the directors, does not have to be at the place of trade.

Companies House is now so efficient, one only has to enter the name of any individual in the new BETA 'log-in' and anybody who is a director, anywhere will be detailed.

I would say that perhaps the lack of relplies is to do with the fact lots of us are much more relaxed than you seem to be .
It's really easy to have your address removed if the situation warrants it ,ours was .
