Do any of you show at County level?

Whats the process - i.e. do you have to be a member of the breed society the horse is registered with etc.

What are the requirements for horse/handler?

Am thinking of taking Blossom to a county level show next season (most likely Three Counties) and need a few tips

She's registered/passported by the WPCS. I'd be looking at taking her in M&M/Welsh inhand classes, possibly one ridden M&M class just for experience

I show my mini Shettie and New Forest pony at county level and they have both been placed. The only requirement I have seen so far is that they are registered with their relevant breed society.

Yes, but I show hunters and they have to be registered with SHGB.

I think you need to contact the WPCS and ask them, but if the pony is a purebred she would be fine in M and M classes in her respective section.

If you do workers or SHP classes you would need to be registered with the NPS. I am sure a pony showing expert will give you more info.

The Counties is a lovely show to get started at County level. Plenty of entries but the ground is not too buzzy in the outer rings, is near to the lorry park and the facilities are good. Have fun and good luck.
