Dont get me started on Robinsons Courier, I think it was Home Delivery Network that finally delivered my order - 2 weeks after it had been dispatched!!!! When I spoke to Robinsons the courier company had told them all sorts of excuses - none of which were true as the order was being delivered to my office which is open 7am to 6pm!!
On the other side of things I have also had orders (reading this back makes me feel I do too much internet horsey shopping!!) turn up the day after I placed them, I hope yours is one of these

they use home delivery network here and they are useless! you have to wait in 7am-7pm and they are rubbish!! I would call Robinsons and ask for a tracking number. Good luck!

Robinsons use HDL round here, who are rubbish. I had a parcel arrive a few months ago, it was my day off so I had a lay in, heard the door knock, ran down stairs and out into the front garden to see the van driving off. I had not taken more than a few minutes to get to the door, but he was not hanging around, taking my parcel which was late with him!

Have not used Robinsons for 5 years after ghastly mess up with courier and total lack of concern from Robinsons.

Similar experience here ^

Except that I think the cock up was at the Robinson's end not the courier. First they tried to tell me that I had placed my order too late for the next day delivery (had to forward the confirmation email to prove otherwise) and then told that my stuff was on the van and on it's way. They told me this every day for three days until I cancelled the order. Was also told that the courier had tried to deliver but I wasn't there which was total balls because I had been in all day and there was no attempted delivery card left. Very uncaring attitude and caused me to miss my exam due to lack of suitable footwear.
