Has anyone used covercote blades on very hairy legs? My very hairy cob has been having an easy winter so is trace clipped with full on leg warmers, rather than hunter/full clipped as usual when hunting! He's not doing enough work to warrant more than a high trace or blanket, but his legs need to come off. To use a medium blade would look ridiculous with the amount of coat he has left, and I'd have to take the whole leg off, not just to the knee. Has anyone used covercote blades successfully on legs to leave a little hair and protection (and balance out the visuals a bit too?!). Thanks all.

Just to update in case anyone is considering these, I used them this morning and was really pleased with the outcome. They left a better length of hair so that the legs are a bit more protected, and it was much easier to blend in to a very fluffy winter coat :) Piran Feb 19.jpg
