My girl kicks her stable wall (breezeblock) when she's in, i wanted to try and cover the walls with something to prevent her from hurting herself. I was thinking of some thin rubber sheets that i could screw onto the breeze blocks but OH thinks they might be too heavy as walls are not pinned. Yard Owner doesn't want me to use carpet with straw stuffed down the backs either so im running out of ideas, other thank banking her bed (shavings) which i thingk she would paw down, plus they would need to be about 3feet high.

Any ideas??

Old gym mats? We used coir (sp?) doormats on a stable door. Discourages kicking; I think because of the the texture. Astroturf might give a similar result.

There is some thin EVA matting (10mm) on ebay that is very cheap, I keep tripping over multiple listings for it - there is a lot on there! its often free delivery as its so lightweight

Brill - thank you, my OH is convinced rubber matting is too heavy, but i was sure there was something out there that would serve the purpose.

Off to browse e-bay :)
