Cowboy/Ranching holiday

I spent a week in utah and arizona, it was trail riding and camping. Long days in the saddle, but lots of fun and the scenery was amazing. The horses fantastic, very surefooted and know their job!final day was lunch at the north rim of the grand canyon, we were the only ppl there!i would recommend equitours.

We went with Ranch America to the Lonesome Spur ranch in Montana in the 90's - it was fantastic! We stayed with a family and were treated as such - I went with my husband and we met 2 girls from London - we were the only 4 guests there! Apart from riding out with the ranch owner, he took us to the wild west museum in Cody, white water rafting, taught us 'roping' plus we helped out the neighbours with their cattle, branding and such plus sheep shearing. We only went for a week which wasn't long enough and although it wasn't cheap, it really was amazing! I would say go for it.

I just wanted to say that you should definitely go for it! The agency I work for send single riders on trips all the time, including ranching, and people love it! :)

It's a really nice way to meet new people so definitely give it a go.
