crack below coronet

Just noticed today my boy has a crack on each hoof,horizontal that runs right around his hoof Am assuming this is not a feeding change band as his stable mate on the same diet is fine...not something I have come across before so I am a bit concerned anyone know what this could be please?

We need a photo I think. Are you sure it's a crack? Both feet? It has to be something to do with his digestion, possibly even a poison of some kind, but who knows what. Is the horse sound?

These happened to my TB when I took him Bf they occurred where the angle of the foot growing down changed causeing stress cracks very curious to see .
His horn was thin and generally weak ( I keep him on farriers formula now) they looked awful when the wall chipped away from the bottom up to the line .
They did not run right round though .
