cracked dew claw?

First day of holidays and of course the dog is injured. She's (from what I can see!) Broken one of her dew claws. There's a bit of blood but not bleeding and its sticking out a wee bit. Should I just leave it and she will probably be off down the warrens again and break it off?! Will anything drastic happen? How much do they bleed? Or should I try and strap it/bandage it back in place? She yelped and pulled away when I tried that so not sure whether to force it? Or should I try and cut/break it off?

Any advice? 10 years and she's never managed to injure it! Thanks, sorry for all the questions!

Lil did this a few weeks back, we took her to the vet, he cut it right back for us (it was at a right angle, plenty of blood) 3 days off walking with salt water baths and she's now back on form

Lovely! Will try and pin her down and get it off! Probably better her bleeding all over the kitchen than 3 fields away and not wanting to come back!
