My little pony has had front shoes on previously, but due to no jockey, I have had them taken off. Generally her feet are fine, but at the front, where the farrier has cut a 'V' for the shoe clip, her off side hoof has a hairline crack running up it, and she is very slightly lame....

Is there a solution to this? Should I leave it and hope that it stops cracking, put shoes back on or something else!?

TIA for any opinions/experiences.....

They aren't too long.....

She was trimmed about 3 weeks ago, and walks up and down a road to the field every day....

She is also fed on happy hoof, fast fibre and pretty much ad lib hay.....

I am not sure what you mean when you say 'rolled'....

I will take some photos later when I go up and post them then!

Thanks for your help!!!
