Today I was looking forward to a nice hack out with friends as for the most part I ride out on my own.
I rode out from home to meet one of my friends, no issues on the way it took about 30 mins to get there.
I met up with my fellow rider we headed of from his house. We walked trotted and galloped with no issues and all in control for about 30 mins. We then met up with some more riders which started of well.
However things started to deteriorate on Armas's part. Rather than walk he would try to piafe which was not helpful
I just could not get him to walk he tried his level best to gallop non stop every were.
By the end of the ride I was soaked in sweat as was he. My hands were numb from trying to control him.
He has not changed food so no issues there. I can only think that he was wound up by the other horses. How ever the other horses were all calm and well behaved unlike my rather sharp dancing horse....
Any ideas ? Hope the boy chills out for tomorrow as he is competing in a local Sj event
