Hi Everyone
Our little jack russell slipped over the other day and lacerated one of his neck vertabrae which in turn pushed up and bruised his spinal cord, resulting in partial paralysis of his front legs.
He's currently in Newmarket at the specialist small animal unit but will be coming home on Tuesday or Wednesday.
He's going to need to be confined to a crate for 6/8 weeks until the swelling goes down. Has anyone experienced crate rest for their dogs before and have any tips/hints for keeping the dog interested and calm whilst it lasts?
