Crates for escape artists?

So the only time the pup goes in the crate really is when we go out, as even though Lucy is fantastic with him. The sheer size difference between them unsupervised worries me.

He has now worked out how to unlock the crate doors, both of them, including the additional catches that clip onto the bottom of the doors 🙄

I'm thinking clips? 😳🤣

He's not fussed about being in the crate at all, I think he just gets bored and the mission impossible theme music pops into his head 🤣 but of course now he's worked out all the locks. I need to up the challenge ...

As suggested airline crate , they are 100% safe and dogs no matter the breed can escape from them ( otherwise they would have free range of the holding bay) 😉 🤣 I always keep spare airline crates for certain dogs that I just simply would not leave in a metal crate ( esp bullies) lol

For flights the doors of even airline crates are cable tied. But the lock isn't undoable by the dog and you can also get replacement doors if the locking system goes so they are really long lasting. Ours are 10+ years old now and going strong (on their second doors).
