Went and did the Trail Ride today, it actually managed to stay fine for two hrs!! May behaved quite well, could'nt manage any steady canters, but gallops are much more fun

Managed to stop her without any problems, then she would walk on a loose rein. Only did the small jumps, but she actually listened, did'nt tank off and jumped everything nicely!

Will have photos as soon as they put them on the website. Was well worth 1hr 20 min drive! Very self indulgent, but had a lovely day.

Vet comes out to Pidge on the 6th June so am going to ask him when I can do proper canter work with him and when I can jump and then can hopefully book Somerford Park again, though I suppose we can go even if I can't jump him and just canter when you and sis jump

Bet you can't wait!! Craven is more gallopy, there were only 20 fences to jump over 8 miles, you would love it! They are doing something there around the end of July, arrive Sat do a ride 8-12 miles, then stay over and same again Sun. Will let you know details as soon as I get them, but I'm sure you and Pidge would love it!

I know he's still on a satchet of bute just need to cross everything for when he comes off it on Thursday ready for vets visit the following Wednesday

and that there has been some improvement. Would be happy just to ride round and not do the jumps, just want my horse back to normal

May is fine leaving her friend!! H put her mare out with the two youngsters, we only have problems when Myrtle is brought into the stables on her own - mind you H said Myrtle spent all her time listening for my horsebox coming back then she goes nuts as we come up the drive!!

I love that ride-hired it out when I was up north two summers ago-going was fab, and fun jumps-glad you had fun!
