Any ideas?
He's got bad seperation anxiety due to having a really bad and abusive past and is majorly attached to my other mare who is on box rest to.
Her injury means she has to do 2x 20 mins in hand walking daily and during this time he's box walking, rearing, kicking the walls, coming over his stable door (front legs) lathering up in sweat and kicking the door which is obviously not good for him. He doesn't want me to go in her stable or anywhere near her.
Due to him being on minimal movement hand grazing/walking isn't an option so when I go in his stable he's trying to barge (even with a stall chain) and kick who ever is closest to him, trying to break off when he's tied up and just being a dangerous loon..
He gets 3 small soaked for 12hrs nets of hay a day and a sprinkle of happy hoof with the dose of sedalin a shire horse should have 2x a day and he's still off his rocker..
All this stress is going to give him colic and is no good for his injury to heal..
Any ideas??
Can't wait for him to be able to go out/be ridden again!
