Ive just been lucky enough to win a Shires Huntingdon Tweed on Ebay, it arrived this morning & is quite badly creased, its 100% wool, so obviously i cant iron it. Any ideas as i need it for Saturday.

The other option is to steam it, either hang it in the bathroom when you shower or hang it over a boiling kettle.

If you have a normal iron, turn in to the wool setting, and test on a inconspicuous area of the tweed such as inside the jacket next to the lapel but do not touch the lining. Or lay the jacket wool side up on an ironing board, and place a teatowel over the top, then iron over and hey presto non creased, non damaged jacket. Or like already said a decent dry cleaner who cleans on site should be able to quickly pop the press over it, well i would :) good luck

You can iron it, between two damp tea towels then hang up till dry. If you have a steam cleaner that will work too.

The best way is as advised already - hang in bathroom and let the steam sort it for you. Much easier - and safer - than ironing! (This may need several baths.) On the other hand, a high wool content needs knowledgeable handling with the iron whereas a high synthetic content could revert to something resembling plastic! Good luck. Hope I'm not too late with this warning.

Hmmm im not great with an iron, but my otherhalf is a dab hand with one (army training comes in handy lol), so might get him to give it a whirl.....along with polishing my boots :)
