Cremello or palomino

Hi, so went to see my foal yesterday .... 6 weeks til he comes home seriously excited, so can anyone help me out here when I originally bought him he was palomino, but every time I see him he is getting lighter and lighter , I will attach some pics but would be greatful if anyone could advise if he will end up palomino or cremello (hoping for the first) however I will love him all the same

If he has dark eyes he is a pale palomino; cremellos have blue eyes and pink skin.

Yes he has brown eyes, lol I thought cremellos had blue eyes / pink skin but he's just so light I was getting confused. I wonder if he will get any darker again

Possibly; foals have fluffy foal coats that are often different from their adult ones.

Also looking at the pictures mum is chestnut so isn't carrying cream. He would need cream on both sides to be Cremello.

He can't be cremello because his dam is chestnut. He's palomino. He may well get darker as he grows.

He was sold as palomino, however the stud does breed true cremellos hence the confusion with him becoming so light, I did read up on the genetics after Criso had pointed that out to so I realise now he can't be cremellos and is obviously just very light compared to when he was born.
