Just thought I'd drop in and say hello

I'm mentioned in this weeks H&H on Page 7 (Thank you Abi) and would be grateful if people could cross post news and alerts of stolen horses, ponies, equipment etc over to the CFH Watch forum or add my email address to your mailing list and I will post the details

This is a nice idea, and the more postings the better on stolen horses, tack and lorries..however the danger with yet another website is that things will get missed.

There is a national site for stolen horses and this is the one that everybody should have a link to

When the UK HorseWatch site becomes clogged up with over 50 spam posts and has no current details for HorseWatch contacts or Police contacts ...

And when the email address on the site sends back mailer demon bounce messages and the phone number on the site is unavailable ...

When you cant even get a reply from the person you believe is running the website on her email address and her phone number is unavailable ...

It took me writing to her web host about the forum problem for the forum to get cleared up ... which I should not have had to do in the first place

What are people to do then ???

Offer to help adminster an existing site instead of setting up yet another one?

Just a quick update, this forum is doing rather well and gaining in popularity slowly. Thanks to everyone who keep checking it etc.
