REALLY nice! they do alot of BSJA and have just had a huge outdoor school put in as well there current indoor school (also huge and very nice!) warm ups are also on a surface and their jumps are really nice to. Parking is on hard standing and plenty of room. they also have a cafe and a tack shop!

It is really nice and friendly, Indoor school is lovely but I havent seen the outdoor arena.

I dont like the warm up arena, the surface is great buts its far too small!! When you have more than 3 big horses warming up for the jumping its dangerous IMO. Especially as its against a hedge and the lorrys park the otherside, my horse if fine but theres always one that gets spooked and ends up crashing into you. Saying that though I hated the warm up for jumping at Medstead Grange as well because I thought thats was too small.

Merrist wood and Sparsholt have much more suitable sized warm up arenas.

Maybe im just picky but too small warm up arenas with people crashing over too big jumps, people falling off, horses running out etc, is just asking for trouble.

There are 2 new outdoor arenas at Crofton, one is used as a warm up and is much larger than the old one and a very nice surface, so no worry there.

We no longer use that arena for competitions, it is purely for the DIY liveries now.

As Burtie said, we have 2 fab new arenas with great surfaces. No more warm up worries!

Im guessing you have not seen the warm up at many couty shows??!! New Forest, Newark and Notts, Bath and West to name but a few are at least half the size of those arenas and riders have to warm up for Grand Prixs in that!
