Crosby hind leather eventing boots.

Has anyone got any?
I have just bought some and I cannot decide which way they go on the hind - if I go traditional method of straps facing backwards it does not look quite right as have a leather bit over fetlock and they look more like polo boots. If straps face forwards it looks better. I think they are quite long and cannot decide if I like them - any opinions?

they are straps forward in the catalogue i have but cant say anything about them as i havent got them
