I took my horse to a x-country course today for some schooling....
I was not nervous at all for some reason...i have an unbelievable amount of trust in him. It was mine and my horses first time around X-country fences and i just thought i would give it a shot.
Well we arrived at the course and we were the only ones there so i was quite glad. He got out the trailor and stood still while i booted him up etc and got on. We went and found a warm up jump...just a little log...then we just added in some other jumps and he was fine a little excited but fine..
We then started on some small ditches...tires....small hedges..jumping in and out of water etc...he calmed down and He was AMAZING.
He was just flying over them not hesitating before them or anything...we ended up making a course and we flew round it without any hesitation...he even managed a step conbination!
I AM SO PROUD OF MY BOY! He did everything i asked of him and was, well im speechless!
I just thought i would say how happy i am now
