I live in Ely. Where is the closest place to me to go x-c schooling.

Please don't suggest Ely eventing center as they have closed their course ready for the BE.

Sorry to ask but i only normally use Ely as it is just up the road from me, so not sure what else is around.

Stupid me thought it was open until the end of this week and i need to get some schooling in ASAP.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Great Witchingham, Ickworth, Elveden (not v big though), don't know if the course at Alconbury is open for schooling? I think Ely is the only one that's reasonably close to you.

No Isleham doesn't do schooling due to it being a working factory. Health and safety and all that.

Dose anybody know what the course is like at Elvedon ? what heights are there and is there a good selection of jumps. I don't mind it's not a big course, i just want a good verity of fences.

Elveden has a water complex with steps in and out and jumps a few strides away, a small bank, an open ditch, steps and a few skinnies. It's a UK Chasers course, so follows a track round rather than being lots of jumps in fields like Ely, so there isn't much opportunity to string a few fences together.
