Cross-tying,,,

Hullo, am travelling my beast for the first time without a trailer partition tomorrow. i will be cross-tying her and wondered whether people generally clip both ropes to the central, under-jaw ring on the headcollar or one to each of the side rings? i am more inclined to use the side rings but am not sure - hence annoying you lot with my stupid questions!! Any more tips on travelling minus the partition would be very much appreciated (its an ifor 505) thankies!

I use the side rings on the headcollar when I cross tie in the trailer.

We have the 505 and my horse loves it!

I travel Ali wthout partitions in a Ifor Williams 505 as he doesn't like partitions very much and it results in him putting his two front legs in the air continously

I clip both ropes on the under-jaw ring

Cross tying is the norm at the yards I have been to here, and they all tie to the side rings
