Cruelty just gets worse.

Seriously, what is going wrong in this world?

Some 'people' are just oxygen thieving scum that should be hung up by their nasties

Is that the foal that was left under a tarp? I saw that on the Guardian website, it's so sad, I can't believe anyone could do that to a living creature :(

I have read some horror stories in my time but this one has really upset me. How on earth could anyone do this to any living creature. This has really devastated me when i read it it beggars belief. What type of person could think up this way of getting rid of a poor defencless creature. I really hope that they catch the said individuals and i would like to spend some time alone with them or maybe do the same cruel thing to them!
The poor foal sounded in a bad way to start with but months ago someone bred this foal, bought it from somewhere! Someone must know where it has come from. If they didnt want the foal why buy it in the first place or give it away to a deserving home. I really hope these people donot have children, elderly folk or other animals. Im sorry for the rant but his has really upset me when i read it. Im 40 years of owning horses i have never read anything so bad, not to say it doesnot go on, its just horrendous

This made me cry - there's a picture of the poor foal, whilst still alive in the arms of an RSCPA officer in the Daily Mail article.

What is wrong with people???

I've just had a look, that poor little foal, at least it had some comforting arms of the RSPCA lady at the end. I hope the people that neglected and tortured this poor foal get 30 years inprisonment, but sadlt, they wont. Hanging them slowly would do, and I would volunteer to be the hangman.

I haven't seen anything as sad as that picture for a long time. There are some seriously sick people in this world. They should be tied behind a car and dragged along to see how much they like it!

So so Sad, I hope they catch the B*****ds & string them up, by their neck preferably! When did animals become throw away items!!

RIP little foal at least you can't suffer at the hands of these cruel people anymore.

And people saw them dragging it? If I saw someone doing that I would follow them to see where they were taking it and then gone to help it after they left, whilst on the phone to the police of course. Do people really just stand back and watch these things happen? Of course they do. Sick.

My thoughts exactly - same with that poor little filly that was left with a broken neck. Is these people can do this to horses - well, I just hope they aren't responsible for children.

I truly hope someone gets hold of these a*******s and puts them through a similar experience.

We sometimes, rather smugly, call ourselves a nation of animal lovers and yet time and again there are horror stories about so called educated British people doing unthinkable acts to animals. Only today I read that 20% of people who buy puppies no longer have them for various reasons, 2 years on. I just don't understand how there can be SO MANY sick people in our "civilized" society, but then after all they are only animals, I suppose that's how they think?
