Crufts Flyball part 2

Not such a good time yesterday. My team went out very tamely due to a crossover in the first race, then one of the dogs fumbled the ball and lost masses of time in the second. Heyho, we had our moment of glory on Thursday.
Our other team also had a mixed day. They won the semi final but in the final had a bit of bad luck and came 3rd.
Congratulations to the "Nunnies" who won.

Well done for getting as far as you did though!! Look at it as a trial run for next year when you will whoop them all!!!

Also.. quick Q if i may-- why have they changed it so the dogs don't catch a ball, they just pick one up from that box thing?

Thank you. It was my first time as a "competitor", so a bit like a rabbit in headlights I think. Just got to go and qualify for 2011 now! first one in May.

Sorry, posts must have crossed.
Because pedigree pulled out of sponsoring Crufts, they wouldn't allow their boxes to be used. we used the ones we always use at British Flyball Association comps.
Not as specacular as the Crufts ones imo.

Thank you. As yopu say--you can only do your best and our luck ran out yesterday (or maybe nerves got the better?) Anyway it was still a fabulous couple of days and there was some great racing.
And I do have a Crufts Rosette...............................
