Just watching a little of Crufts, and obviously plenty of breeds have fabulous hair styles! Clearly takes much grooming.
Anyway, mainly relating to dogs, but when they toilet how the hell does it not stain? I mean they 'could' toilet just before their show, not really allowing time to clean up.
Thoughts?! lol

I can only imagine the owners / handlers have pockets full of baby wipes and pounce as soon as the dog squats lol. I've no idea really.

Just admiring the work gone into the poodles although I've proved myself hopeless at judging the utility group. The Dalmatian had it for me and it didn't even make the cut!! I'm a bit biased towards dallies though.

I can't speak for the handlers of other breeds but as a poodle person, I don't really obsess too much about toileting. There was a sawdust indoor toilet area for the dogs - I let my bitch go in there beforehand, early in the day to empty her bladder (she'd already done a poo earlier) and then she visited again after her show. It brushes out easily enough. We poodle people are far more obsessed with damp and humidity as it really wreaks havoc on perfect finish. Slightly annoying when you have a bitch that has to walk and wee and wet down her legs, but it happens and you just get on with it.

Speaking of damp - had my girls ears banded and vet wrapped to keep them dry and clean. She dunked one in her bowl and it soaked the ear - spent ages trying to dry it before her class from dripping wet!
